Generate A Story is an independent service. Stories, pictures and narration are created using third-party AI technology.

It depends on the length of story chosen. Short stories are ready within a few minutes of payment; longer video generation can sometimes take 15–20 minutes. We’ll email you the link when it’s ready.

Illustrated story videos combine a personalized script, illustrations, and narration. eBooks are downloadable illustrated storybooks, and hardback books are physical printed books and are coming soon.

Your photo sample is used to create your story and is scheduled for deletion from this service 7 days after upload. The photo is sent to our image provider only to create the illustrations, under that provider's own terms. The upload is optional.

For new paid, approved customer orders, the finished story is available to download for 30 days after it is ready for you. We attempt one reminder around day 21, then delete the story and media after the download window ends. You can use your private link to delete your story and uploads at any time; we keep only a minimal accounting record. Deletion does not automatically issue a refund.

Cleanup runs daily while the service is active and catches up on restart. Removal may be delayed while the service is asleep or if a task fails. Reminders may be delayed or missed if the service is asleep or email delivery fails. Files another order still needs are kept for that order. These rules apply to new orders after this policy takes effect; contact us about older orders. Unpaid previews, moderation holds, and test or sandbox orders are not automatically deleted under the 30-day rule.
